As summer 2024 kicks off, our team will be taking a break for a little over a week — June 30th to July 8th. As always, we are eternally grateful for you — our audience. There’s nothing we love more than creating fun, engaging, + meaningful content, and creating community, and you enable us to do so.
Now more than ever, it is essential to occasionally disconnect, take a step back, and practice some self-care.
Our out-of-office messages are going up; our DMs will have an auto-reply; and we’ll be a bit off the grid through Monday, July 8th. We’ll be back with regular content on the week of the 8th. Most media outlets continue to publish throughout the year, even through holidays, but we are taking a decisive stance to pause our in-house work to recoup and enjoy some R&R twice a year — summer and the holidays as a whole (besides our normal PTO).
Hopefully, this is also the sign you needed to know that it’s okay to take a break. It’s so important to recharge. Watch that reality show, read that book, clean that closet, get that vitamin D outside, take a day trip — whatever makes you feel refreshed and rejuvenated.
