Where to See Cherry Blossoms in Northern New Jersey
A beautiful indicator of warm weather, cherry blossoms are a sweet treat that livens up any block when they're in bloom. While the blooms signify spring, they are also said to represent a time of renewal and the fleeting nature of life. Walk around the Essex County area and you'll see them sporadically, but for a full cherry blossom experience, there are a few parks in North Jersey where you can see them. After the flowers peak around two weeks, the blossoms start to fall — so be sure to make time to see them in action as soon as you can. Branch Brook Park | Lake Street + Park Avenue, Newark
An iconic cherry blossom destination, Branch Brook Park is home to the Essex County Cherry Blossom Festival, which is happening from April 5th to April 13th. The park is also home to the Cherry Blossom Welcome Center with gallery and display cases highlighting the history of cherry blossoms in Newark.

Hamilton Park | 25 West Hamilton Place, Jersey City

New Jersey Botanical Gardens | 5 Morris Road, Ringwood

NJBG frequently hosts tours of the gardens and the Manor House, which is a great way to get the most out of your experience. While you're there, stop by the cherry blossom display.
