Skip to My Brew: Montclair’s Newest Coffee Shop on Valley Road
Another coffee spot has brewed its way into Montclair and just in time for spring. The newest cafe to enter the town's coffee scene, Skip to My Brew, opened at 145 Valley Road, Montclair, in the former Mystic Lobster Roll Co. space, and has been serving coffee enthusiasts all kinds of drinks and pastries since its soft opening on March 9th. The Details
Skip to My Brew, located at 145 Valley Road, is the newest cafe to join Montclair's endless list of coffee spots. The new cafe, which has a menu of espresso drinks, teas, and pastries, soft-opened to the public on March 9th, 2025 and held its official opening on March 18th. At both events, locals were invited to join the business to indulge in its wide array of menu items for the first time.

Montclairions will find a space adorned with spring hues, plenty of seating from booths to high-top chairs, and a shelf of books made for leisurely reading while sipping on one of the shop's many drinks. Some of these include seven different espresso options like the Americano, Cortado, and Cappuccino, each with the option to add in flavors like caramel, French vanilla, and hazelnut.

For those who aren't big into coffee, the menu also features various hot tea options, like the Rose Petal Romance, Black Mist, Sunday Hangover, and Sumertime Shine, and sweet foam lattes, which come in three flavors: ube, caramel, and strawberry. To pair with these creative beverages, customers can also order pastries like crossiants, black + white cookies, chocolate chip cookies, macaroons, and cupcakes.

Skip to My Brew is open from 8AM-4PM Tuesday through Saturday and 7AM-4PM on Sunday. This spot is closed on Monday.
