The food, drinks, decoration, and interactive experience change with every screening. Guests are given complimentary champagne and popcorn before the movie starts.
We recently attended the screening of White Chicks located on the upper floor of Mexican restaurant Little Tijuana at 538 Market Street in Newark and felt like we were transported inside the film.
During the opening scene, when FBI agents Kevin and Marcus mistake an actual ice cream delivery guy for the targets of their investigation, the audience is served a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
The funniest moment for the audience comes when Marcus, while undercover as Tiffany Wilson, runs into stomach trouble after eating quiche because he is lactose intolerant. The dish titled “Slow Down on The Cheese” is then brought out, featuring mini three-cheese quiches arranged around a small toilet bowl filled with chocolate chips.
The standout course of the experience was the iconic “Perhaps a Salad?”, inspired by a scene in which Latrell takes Tiffany Wilson out and suggests a salad, but Marcus (still undercover as Tiffany) proceeds to order nearly everything on the menu in an attempt to turn him off (spoiler: it doesn’t work). The dish mimics that order exactly, with a steak smothered in onions, pork ribs, spaghetti with marinara sauce, truffle fries, and crispy onion rings.

The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout the experience, and a photographer moved around before the film began to capture special moments between couples and friends. Guests were later given their photos in frames, with the option to purchase.
